Job description

Description

Build what millions of shoppers see every day!
At Jahabow, we design and build the commercial-grade retail display cases, fixtures, and decor you see in stores like Sam's Club, Academy, Kohl's, and Walmart. From precision millwork to custom decor, we create shopping experiences from the ground up - and we need skilled hands to help us do it.

We're looking for Assembly Technicians who love working with tools, wood, and machinery. If you've ever run a table saw, band saw, grinder, CNC router, or other woodworking equipment - or just enjoy building and problem-solving with your hands - you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble fabricated parts and products at floor stations
  • Use hand tools and power tools (including saws, drills, grinders) to build to exact specifications
  • Read and follow assembly instructions from a supervisor or team lead
  • Work with wood, laminate, and hardware to create high-quality fixtures
  • Occasionally work on unique, custom builds in addition to standard products

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, or machine operation (preferred)
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately and pass a tape measure test
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs. and stand/walk for most of your shift
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Steady, indoor work - no more weather delays or seasonal layoffs
  • Creative, hands-on projects with visible results
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability plus voluntary short-term disability and supplemental plans (accident, cancer care, hospital indemnity)
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Benefits start after just 30 days of employment

Jahabow is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Apply today and join a team that builds the fixtures everyone sees but no one forgets!
