We are seeking an experiencedย Business Development Manager - Operational Servicesย to drive growth across our services portfolio, including installation, break/fix, advanced exchange, configure-to-order, repair, logistics, and other end-to-end lifecycle services.

This role will be responsible for identifying and winning new business while also expanding service opportunities within existing customer accounts. The ideal candidate is a proven services sales professional who understands how to translate customer operational challenges into scalable, commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hunt for and develop new customers requiring Operational Services, including:
    • Installation and deployment services
    • Break/fix and field maintenance
    • Advanced exchange programs
    • Configure-to-order and staging
    • Repair and refurbishment
    • Logistics and device lifecycle management
    • Holistic, end-to-end service solutions
  • Identify opportunities to expand, upgrade, or introduce new services within existing customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Develop relationships with customer decision-makers across Operations, IT, Procurement, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • Understand customer business and operational requirements and translate those requirements into customized service solutions.
  • Present proposed solutions, value propositions, pricing, and business cases to customers.
  • Partner closely with internal Operations, Finance, Legal, Product, Supply Chain, Sales, and technical teams to develop and deliver solutions.
  • Support the development and negotiation of pricing, proposals, Statements of Work, and commercial agreements.
  • Maintain ownership of opportunities beyond contract signature, working with internal implementation teams to ensure successful launch, operational readiness, and transition into revenue-generating services.
  • Serve as a key customer contact during implementation and help resolve commercial or operational issues that could delay deployment or revenue.
  • Manage and grow strategic customer relationships following implementation, identifying additional opportunities for service expansion.
  • Maintain opportunity, pipeline, customer activity, and forecast information within Salesforce.
  • Travel throughout theย United States and Canada approximately 30-50% of the time, depending on active opportunities, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Conduct in-person customer meetings, site visits, presentations, solution-development sessions, and implementation discussions as required.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experienceย in business development, services sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling complexย services and operational solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing opportunities from initial customer engagement through implementation and revenue realization.
  • Strong solution-selling skills with the ability to understand operational challenges and develop customized service offerings.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, Product, Supply Chain, Sales, and technical organizations.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, executive communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a pipeline, forecast opportunities, and prioritize multiple customer engagements.
  • Ability and willingness to travelย 30-50% throughout the U.S. and Canada, with travel frequency varying based on customer opportunities and business needs.
  • Experience withย Salesforce Lightningย preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within theย payments, financial services, retail technology, or POS industries.
  • Experience selling or supporting solutions involving payment terminals, POS systems, scanners, printers, kiosks, or other distributed technology hardware.
  • Familiarity with field services, device deployment, depot repair, advanced exchange, reverse logistics, configure-to-order, repair, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing multi-year managed services or recurring-revenue solutions.
