The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy consulting and advisory within the retail industry, with over 20 years of experience driving business transformations and growth. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strategic vision, and the ability to foster strong client relationships at the highest levels, along with expertise in building and managing a consulting team across the retail value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute the business consulting strategy for the US Retail sector, aligning with the company's global vision and objectives.
• Own and deliver the revenue targets for the consulting business for US Retail
• Lead high impact consulting engagements, providing strategic insights and driving value for major retail clients.
• Collaborate with global leadership to ensure consistency and quality of service across regions.
• Client Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers in the retail industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio and driving revenue growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing thought leadership on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Team Building & Leadership:
• Build and scale a high-performing retail consulting team across the entire value chain, including areas such as supply chain management, customer experience, stores, digital transformation, and merchandising.

• Extensive experience in building and leading retail consulting teams across the value chain, including supply chain, operations, customer engagement, and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and delivering high-value consulting engagements.
• Skills:
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Deep understanding of digital transformation, innovation, and emerging technologies in the retail space.
• Education:
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

3) Candidate will have to build a consulting team under him. The team will comprise of consulting leads for retail sub-domain and they will further have consulting SMEs reporting into them
Salary Range: $261,000-$345,200 a year
