National Account Manager – Club & Value – Wise Foods

Location: Washington, DC

Wise Foods is seeking a National Account Manager – Food Service & Vending to lead customer growth in food service and vending channels under the redesigned channel-focused structure.

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Channel Strategy and Account Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive national account strategies for club and value-channel customers aligned with Wise Foods' growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead annual and multi-year account planning, including volume forecasting, promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and distribution priorities.
  • Translate broader commercial objectives into channel-specific execution plans.
  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national club and value-channel customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams.
  • Lead customer negotiations related to pricing, promotions, assortments, and contractual terms.
  1. Commercial Execution and Performance Management
  • Manage account performance against volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Monitor promotional execution, distribution performance, and assortment compliance.
  • Identify performance gaps and develop corrective action plans in collaboration with internal teams.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing to develop customer-specific promotional and merchandising strategies.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Sales Operations to align inventory, forecasting, and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with regional sales and distribution teams to ensure effective in-market execution.
  1. Analytics and Reporting
  • Utilize sales data, customer insights, and performance analytics to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present account performance reviews, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of national or key account experience.
  • Club or value-channel experience preferred.
