Location

This is a hybrid role based in Wilmington, Delaware, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote each week. Local candidates in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland are preferred.


Note

Candidates must be admitted to practice in Delaware and should have 1+ years of relevant bankruptcy, restructuring, litigation, or Chapter 11 related experience. Strong legal research, writing, communication, organization, and project ownership skills are essential.

Job Description

  • Handle bankruptcy and restructuring matters with a focus on Chapter 11 proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and analyze pleadings, motions, briefs, and related legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written analysis.
  • Support attorneys and clients on complex business, financial, and restructuring issues.
  • Manage projects, deadlines, filings, and matter-related responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, and other parties involved in active matters.
  • Take ownership of assignments while working closely with a collaborative attorney team.
  • Contribute to a practice group known for sophisticated Delaware legal work.


Qualifications

  • Delaware Bar admission required.
  • 1+ years of relevant legal experience required.
  • Experience or familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings strongly preferred.
  • Bankruptcy, restructuring, commercial litigation, debtor-side, financial, or business-related experience preferred.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills required.
  • Strong academic credentials preferred.
