Position Overview

Restore Wellness Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist. In this vital role, you will assist patients in regaining mobility and enhancing their quality of life through tailored treatment programs and compassionate care. With a focus on patient-centered practices, you will play an integral role in promoting wellness, rehabilitation, and optimal functional performance.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, which features modern treatment rooms and is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies. Our collaborative team environment promotes open communication and shared learning, enabling therapists to exchange ideas and strategies to enhance patient outcomes. You will work from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' physical therapy needs and establish effective treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, focusing on rehabilitation techniques that enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment regimens as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Deliver individualized care for a balanced patient load, maintaining one-on-one treatment sessions to provide focused attention.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to create innovative therapy solutions, emphasizing cost-effective and non-invasive treatments whenever possible.
  • Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and facilitate a comprehensive approach to recovery.
  • Encourage and educate patients on lifestyle modifications, exercises, and wellness programs tailored to their specific health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients span various demographics, primarily focusing on individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitations, sports-related conditions, and chronic pain management. We are deeply committed to understanding each patient's unique situation, allowing us to tailor our approaches to meet their physical, emotional, and psychological needs effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
  • Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
  • Existing licenses should be free from any board or disciplinary actions.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in human anatomy and kinesiology as it relates to therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing individualized exercise programs.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing diverse treatment plans.
  • Experience with community outreach programs or wellness initiatives.
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers competitive compensation, with a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
