Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our outpatient office, where you will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a congenial environment that promotes both professional collaboration and personal well-being. Our team is comprised of highly skilled therapists dedicated to implementing the latest therapeutic modalities, fostering an atmosphere of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through thorough assessments and identify their objectives and specific needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic methods aimed at improving mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Deliver one-on-one patient care by maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Utilize cost-effective therapies and techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, minimize reliance on medications, and propose non-surgical alternatives.
• Incorporate a variety of exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions in daily practice.
• Motivate and engage patients during their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement to promote adherence to treatment protocols.
• Document each treatment session accurately, ensuring professionalism in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and coordinate care effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on assessed outcomes and evolving patient goals.

Patients visiting Restore Wellness Physical Therapy range from active adults recovering from injuries to seniors seeking improvements in mobility and functional independence. Your role will require adaptability and a personalized approach to understanding and meeting the specific needs of each individual you treat.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree or Doctorate (MPT or DPT).
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in designing and implementing individualized exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A track record of effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
