Position Manager
Location: Islandia, NY

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Position Manager to oversee daily operations within a high-volume restaurant and entertainment environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, leading team members, maintaining operational standards, and driving sales and profitability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest service, food quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop hourly team members and shift leaders while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
  • Monitor labor, sales, and operating costs to maximize profitability and achieve business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health department, and company operating standards.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to create memorable experiences and build guest loyalty.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee training.
  • Perform opening, closing, cash handling, inventory management, and operational audits.
  • Support promotional events, large group functions, and high-volume service periods while maintaining smooth operations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to execute company initiatives and improve overall restaurant performance.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment venue management experience.
  • Experience leading teams in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, inventory control, and financial performance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
