DESCRIPTION
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is hiring immediately for Assistant Managers to join our team!
We are looking for full-time and part-time Assistant Managers for all shifts.
As our Assistant Manager, you'll never be bored. You'll be responsible for making sure our restaurant runs smoothly.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Interacts with crew members and customers using 'Tropitude' (Tropitude is our "mojo" and means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).
  • Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
  • Maintaining operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively
  • Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
  • Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
  • Various other tasks as needed

Previous experience as an assistant manager, store manager, restaurant manager, supervisor or in retail preferred, but not required! Those with experience at Amazon, Living Room Theaters, CMX Cinemas, Stoney Clover Lane, Burger King, West Marine, Citi Trends, Aldo or other restaurant/retail positions encouraged to apply!
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Great leadership skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
