INTERIOR DESIGNER
//3877is IMMEDIATELY looking for an interior designer with 5 to 8 years' experience (ideally in hospitality), a damn good attitude, willingness to teach AND learn, serious motivation and a daily quest to do good work while smiling (the ability to quote comedic films is a plus). We are crazy busy with some incredible projects on the table and even better clients on board. We offer great healthcare benefits, 401k and beer on tap.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Participate and Lead design sessions
Participate in client meetings / presentations
Aid in production of project documents from concept design through construction documents
Complete construction administration [on site and within the office]
Participate in marketing endeavors
Give and receive technical direction
Serve as Project Manager on multiple projects, and work as a team member on other projects as needed
Coordinate with consultants
Manage time [your own and your teams] effectively
Manage project budgets effectively
Work in concert with the Interior Design team
Multi-task and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
Tangible Requirements:
Diploma from a recognized college in Interior Design or similar.
A minimum of 5 years full time experience within the last year in a similar position involving hospitality design
Deep, philosophical understanding of Revit and Adobe Suite
Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), email and internet*;
Organization/attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative; ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
Outstanding communication skills
