Interior Design Internship

At VC, we take pride in crafting not just exceptional dining experiences, but also the thoughtfully designed spaces that elevate them. We're excited to offer an internship opportunity for a driven and creative individual to join our design team and gain real-world experience in high-end restaurant and hospitality design.

This internship provides an inside look into the design process—from concept development to on-site visits—with the chance to build your portfolio while working closely with an experienced team.

As an Interior Design Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to


●       Assist in space planning, material selection, and design documentation


●       Support the design team in sourcing finishes, materials, and furnishings


●       Participate in site visits, taking measurements, and helping document existing conditions


●       Work with team members to build design presentations and visual boards


●       Collaborate on multiple projects in various stages, from concept to construction


●       Help maintain design libraries and organize samples

What We’re Looking For


●       Positive, communicative, team-oriented attitude and a self-starter mentality


●       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


●       Familiarity with materiality, aesthetics, and hospitality space planning


●       A candidate with a portfolio or samples of work required to share for consideration


●       Currently working to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited Interior Design program, or currently enrolled in a CIDA- or NAAB-accredited interior design or architecture program


●       Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities as needed


●       Comfort working on-site and behind a computer (approx. 80% of the time)


●       Knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)


●       Bonus if able to produce hand-sketched renderings
