Restaurant Front of House Shift Leaderย Bostonโ€™s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar

We are a fast growing, casual dining franchise chain with over 400 locations throughout North America. Focusing on all-American favorites with an Italian twist, we are both a family friendly restaurant and a sports bar.

This is a full-time supervisory position and reports to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager and requires 1-2 years restaurant front of house supervisory experience.ย  The Restaurant Front of House Shift Leader is responsible for the training and supervision of servers, hosts, and bartenders, and also supports superior operations and guest service. You will be accountable for meeting budgeted financial goals including but not limited to Front of House labor cost, guest satisfaction metrics,and meeting all service standards. Maintaining a perfectly clean, sanitary and inviting guest environment will be a top priority for the Shift Lead Front of House Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ยท Create, lead, and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture.

ยท Increase sales by ensuring Guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.

ยท Lead, manage, and deliver a friendly Guest Focused experience.

ยท Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.

ยท Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed.

ยท Maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee and restaurant safety.

ยท Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

ยท 1-2 years of progressive supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant.

ยท Proven leadership skills and ability to follow-through.

ยท Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale system.

ยท Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.

ยท Strong analytical/decision-making skills.

ยท Must possess a strong sense of urgency and command presence management style.

ยท Leadership skills โ€“ able to direct, coach and supervise a team.

ยท Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs.

ยท Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

ยท Customer service skills โ€“ able to exceed guest expectations.

ยท Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

ยท You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.

ยท Must be eligible to work in the United States.
