Located on the water at the Isle of Palms Marina, Islander 71 is a popular restaurant and event venue known for its relaxed, coastal vibe and consistently high volume. We serve a mix of locals and visitors with fresh seafood, sandwiches, oysters, and cocktails across multiple indoor and outdoor dining areas. Our team is passionate about hospitality and delivering a smooth, memorable guest experience—whether it’s for a quick lunch or a large private event.


The Opportunity

We’re hiring a full-time Front-of-House Manager to join our leadership team and help oversee daily front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong service experience who’s ready to step into a leadership position—or continue growing their career in restaurant management.

You’ll work closely with senior management, support the FOH team during high-volume shifts, and play a key role in shaping both the guest and staff experience on the floor. This is a year-round position with opportunities for continued growth and increased responsibility over time.


What You’ll Do
  • Support and lead FOH operations during daily service

  • Motivate and guide service staff to deliver smooth, high-quality shifts

  • Monitor table turns, flow, and guest experience throughout the floor

  • Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of new team members

  • Serve as a key point of communication between FOH and BOH teams

  • Handle opening, closing, and shift change duties as needed

  • Be a visible, hands-on leader who keeps service positive and on pace

  • Manage client communications and administrative tasks
