Job Overview:
Alon Management is a premier franchise of the McDonald's system! In our restaurants, the most important asset is our people, both employees and guests. We are seeking Restaurant Facilities Technicians who are both tactical and strategic facilities professionals who can ensure our stores are in good repair to support a positive guest and employee experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
The Restaurant Facilities Technician is responsible for executing aspects of the company's preventive maintenance and repair strategy. The Restaurant Facilities Technician will report to the Restaurant Facilities Lead. The Restaurant Facilities Technician will support assigned restaurants as business needs dictate. Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Conducting maintenance travel paths and planning and prioritizing preventive maintenance, and routine maintenance issues within the restaurant. Partner with Area Facilities team where issues require additional support.
  • Help maintain cooking equipment including troubleshooting, cleaning, sanitizing, calibrating, and conducting basic to intermediate repairs.
  • Conduct basic HVAC support, such as changing air filters and belts, monitoring cleanliness level of the system, and conducting basic cleaning functions. (Will receive training by company on basic and routine inspections for HVAC systems at the store level.)
  • Ability to conduct basic plumbing work including the ability to caulk and apply sealant when needed.
  • Maintain fryer system by ensuring oil filtration is completed, fryers are kept clean, and grease deposits or build up is maintained to keep the system in clean and good repair.
  • Ability to cross train when needed to support the Restaurant Leader or Area Facilities Team in other duties.

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 Years' experience in a facilities or maintenance technician role in retail, hospitality, or restaurant setting.
  • Ability to be successful in a position where you may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, stand up most of the shift, and work with light to moderate tools.
  • Knowledge of restaurant equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical, and general maintenance preferred.
