Rest Area Attendant
Advanced Employment Services, a division of The ARC of the Treasure Coast


Advanced Employment Services is currently seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Rest Area Attendants at the I-95 Northbound and Southbound Rest Areas. In this essential role, you will help keep the rest areas clean, safe, and welcoming for all travelers, while also supporting the mission of The ARC of the Treasure Coast to make a positive impact in the community.


Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available


What You'll Do:
This is a hands-on position that involves performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety standards across the rest area facilities. Responsibilities include:

  • Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining all vinyl and ceramic tile floors
  • Cleaning baseboards, stall walls, ceiling fixtures, and vents
  • Emptying and sanitizing waste bins and sanitary containers
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, and partitions
  • Restocking restroom supplies as needed
  • Keeping office and storage areas clean and organized
  • Picking up litter in flower beds, landscaping, picnic areas, and around entrance/exit ramps
  • Maintaining the foyer area and wiping down water fountains, benches, bulletin boards, and newspaper racks
  • Following safety guidelines and best practices at all times
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
