Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Varying length assignment working with a team to accomplish specific tasks in support of upcoming elections. Work onsite at customer location performing assigned tasks.
  • Equipment Installation/Maintenance - follow a checklist of actions and procedures to verify functionality and performance of machines. Detailed training will be provided for all contractor technicians. All activities will take place in a warehouse-type environment.
  • Report to the project Lead Technician and Regional Manager with progress updates and issues as required.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and positive customer relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Strong technical capability with electronic, mechanical, and computer hardware, supporting effective field diagnostics and on-site service.
  • This role requires strong work ethic, problem-solving, analysis, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed commitment to customer service and a passion for quality.
  • Professional appearance and personal effectiveness/credibility.
  • Provide basic tools to perform job (ex: battery operated driver, pliers, wrenches, etc.) - custom tools will be provided if needed.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations within geographical area/territory.

Location
  • Candidates must live in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale

Pay
  • $150 - $175 daily rate - negotiable based on technical experience
  • Travel, lodging and per diem provided if/when traveling outside home area

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent may be exposed to moving Electro/mechanical parts and noise. This position may require travel in a variety of weather conditions.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The incumbent must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk or hear and is required to stand, walk, hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
