PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading voting equipment support and repair organization to hire Election Technicians who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering reliable service. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure election equipment is tested, deployed, and operating accurately so communities can confidently participate in the voting process.

What You'll Do

As an Election Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting election operations before, during, and after Election Day by:

  • Performing pre-election testing on tabulators and voting equipment using established procedures and checklists.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and completing equipment repairs or implementing effective solutions.

  • Escalating complex equipment concerns to project leads when additional support is needed.

  • Conducting post-election testing to verify equipment functionality and readiness.

  • Traveling to voting locations to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and support voting equipment on-site.

  • Communicating effectively with project leads, dispatchers, and team members.

  • Following documented procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least one year of experience working with general technology products such as computers, printers, scanners, or similar equipment.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow written procedures and work within established quality management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting electronic or mechanical equipment.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in technical field service, equipment repair, or quality-focused environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Physical Requirements

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
