Job Description
Regional HR Manager
The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR activities at multiple manufacturing sites including direct support and guidance to local HR Business Partners, employee & labor relations, training and organizational development and coaching leaders in alignment with the organization's strategy and culture.
WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
  • Managing and resolving employee relations issues by partnering with the Site Leaders and local HR Coordinator.
  • Working with Site Leaders and Operation Directors to identify, create, and implement innovative human resources solutions that enhance business performance specific to manufacturing.
  • Partnering with Corporate HR to champion, execute, and monitor the effectiveness of corporate programs and initiatives.
  • Equipping managers with the tools and training to optimize their performance and work with leaders to create and ensure successful completion of individual development plans.
  • Supporting the talent review and succession planning processes using a consultative approach that ensures a strong talent bench.
  • Working with Corporate Training, developing and facilitating leadership training from Plant Managers to Supervisors.
  • Partnering with the recruiting team to acquire top talent through improved selection tools and criteria, and local outreach efforts.
  • Cultivating internal talent, participating in key role promotional decisions and ensuring local relationships to recruiters to assist in timely recruitment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, provincial, state and local employment laws and regulations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
  • University degree, preferably in Human Resources Management. HR Certification is preferred
  • Previous manufacturing/industry experience (an advantage), Distribution, retail. Union experience is nice to have.
  • 5+ years experience in HR Business partnering plus 3 years experience in leadership management
  • Proficient in all areas of Federal & State or Provincial employment law and human rights legislation
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power point), HRIS - Workday preferred
