Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all marketing campaigns, including gathering guidance and direction, developing content, calendars, and posting schedules
  • Manage all website and social media marketing campaigns, including guidance to the agency of record for digital media
  • Manage the assignment, design, scheduling, deadlines, and deployment of all marketing campaigns
  • Manage online hotel links and booking engines, including content to OTAs
  • Manage all personnel in the Marketing Department that relate to the job duties of the above, including hiring, development, reviews, schedules, and progressive discipline when needed
  • Liaison with property marketing, technical staff, and external agencies regarding media content and schedule requirements
  • Develop SEO and PPC strategies for online marketing channels
  • Analyze web, email, and digital advertising campaigns

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Digital marketing content development
  • Email copywriting, layout, and deployment proficiency
  • Experience with social media content platform management systems (i.e., Hootsuite)
  • Experience with ESP platforms (i.e., Active Campaign)
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Suite with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Proficient in Facebook Advertising and targeted ad campaigns
  • Proficient in the use of CMS for updating websites (i.e. Word Press) and outdoor and indoor graphic design.
  • Proficient in third party Booking Engines and Primary Booking Engines
  • Experience with SEO, Google AdWords and PPC Display Advertising techniques
