Job Description

You’ll be performing emergency services for people suffering water- or fire-related property damage. This is a management/leadership position which includes:

Job Responsibilities
  • Hiring, training and managing technicians and laborers
  • Cleaning and deodorizing fire damaged buildings and personal property
  • Documenting, inventorying, cleaning, packing and managing personal property items
  • Managing projects and communicating with customers, clients and vendors
  • Scheduling and directing crew chiefs
  • Completing job file documentation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors to help build business
  • Lead a team of hardworking individuals serving others within your community
  • Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and teamwork within the division and company
  • Self-managing and time management skills
  • Writing estimates per carrier guidelines for pack-outs, content cleaning, pack backs, and laundry restoration
  • Job schedule management and coordination
  • Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments
  • Be a great representative of our brand
  • Deliver thorough, proactive & direct communication with internal staff, customers, quality assurance and insurance adjusters
  • Meet clients and adjusters on-site to assist in issue resolution and provide a professional opinion
  • Issue resolution - be the point of contact for customers if they have any questions and/or concerns and resolve those in an effective and timely manner
  • Maintain inventory of clean, properly stocked, and organized trucks along with all company equipment
  • Manage projects and existing crews
  • Supervise pack-outs and inventory/evaluation of items
Qualifications
  • Experience managing fire cleaning and contents projects in the restoration industry
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work beyond standard operating hours (evenings, weekends, etc.) when needed
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • 3+ years experience in Contents Restoration or Moving Experience
  • Dedication to customer service
  • Ability to lead others from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and implement software programs that track and identify contents
  • IICRC Training & Designations a plus (Fire, Water, Odor, Upholstery Restoration)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Have the ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed
  • Desire to continually learn new things
