Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate residential service operations in the Chicago, IL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service and maintaining efficient operational workflows to meet the needs of our residents.

Pay range is $25/hr. to $33/hr., commensurate with experience plus quarterly bonus potential

Requirements

  • Minimum three years' experience as a Residential Maintenance Manager
  • Advance knowledge of various maintenance functions and mechanicals including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some knowledge of computer systems
  • Driverโ€™s license with reliable vehicle
  • Supervise the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents
  • Work closely with our Property Manager to maximize retention and occupancy goals
  • Delegate maintenance tasks to subordinates
  • Comply with all Fair Housing and OSHA laws and regulations
  • Respond to emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holiday
  • Order supplies and manage inventory control with established budgeted parameters
  • Provide pro-active preventive maintenance for the property
  • Assist PM with performance issues and reviews for the maintenance team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our Property Manager, DOM and VPO
