What You Will Do:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components
  • Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and replacements in residential homes
  • Conduct comprehensive electrical safety inspections and maintenance evaluations
  • Present repair and upgrade options clearly and professionally to homeowners
  • Educate customers on electrical safety, energy efficiency, and available solutions
  • Perform installation, repair, and replacement of:
    • Electrical panels and service upgrades
    • Breakers and fuse panels
    • Switches and receptacles
    • Interior and exterior lighting
    • Circuit wiring
    • Surge protection systems
    • Electrical service and metering equipment
    • Other residential electrical components
  • Safely work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, garages, and other residential work environments
  • Utilize electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and verify repairs
  • Accurately complete service documentation, invoices, and customer records
  • Collect payments and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
  • Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and cleanliness of company vehicles
  • Collaborate effectively with dispatch, customer service, and management teams
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and local, state, and national electrical codes

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of residential and/or light commercial electrical experience
  • Proven experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • State Electrical License preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and installation practices
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner
