General Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Single-Family Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential electrical services in the North Houston area. You will be responsible for leading a team of electricians, coordinating projects, and ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
  2. Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and providing feedback to team members as needed.
  4. Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and assistance to electricians, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring the proper installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
  6. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  7. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for projects and maintaining accurate records of usage and expenses.
  8. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in residential electrical services.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in residential electrical operations, implementing best practices and initiatives to optimize performance.
  10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a single-family residential electrician, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Valid Texas electrical license and certification.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
