Job description

The University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York, is currently seeking outstanding Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for recruitment as fulltime or part-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry. Position responsibilities: didactic and clinical teaching in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program, providing direct patient care in the faculty practice, participating in ongoing clinical and translational research programs and other collaborative activities within the UR EIOH, the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), and the Rochester community. The OMFS Department provides full scope specialty services to all portions of the New York State and extends into the north Pennsylvania region. Additional incentive bonus may be available based on production.

Requires a DDS/DMD, completion of a CODA-approved oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program and OMFS board eligibility, head and neck vascular training is desirable, eligibility for a NYS dental license as established by New York State law and post-offer health assessment is required. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); display initiative, a positive attitude, flexibility and commitment to goals and objectives; must be committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct including the I Care values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

Compensation Information:
$300000.00 / Annually - $425000.00 / AnnuallyDetails:
The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience, and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
