The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The GME Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide a structured educational program for the benefit of the residents and fellows.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Relevant experience in graduate medical education
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in GME, UME or academic healthcare administration
  • Knowledge of ACGME and Institutional Accreditation Standards
  • Strong Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, New Innovations and hospital-based systems

Preferred:

  • TAGME certification (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education)

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Days
  • FT: Monday-Friday

Essential Functions:

  • Manage daily administrative operations of assigned residency or fellowship programs in compliance with ACGME and institutional policies
  • Coordinate resident onboarding, credentialing, and offboarding processes in collaboration with GME and HR
  • Maintain accurate resident records, evaluations, schedules, and duty hour logs in New Innovations
  • Manage recruitment and interview activities through ERAS or ResidencyCas
  • Assist with NJ Permit/NJ License for resident/fellows
  • Manage Travel requests, educational allowances and conference reimbursement
  • Assist in preparing for site visits, annual program evaluations, and ACGME surveys
