Pay: $22.50/hr with an additional $1/hr for active MAP certification

Responsibilities
Residential Leadership & Supervision
  • Assist the Residence Director with the oversight of daily residence operations.
  • Supervise and train residential staff, modeling best practices in care and support.
  • Lead teams by example, promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and positive communication.
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed, including occasional weekends and RD vacation coverage.
Individual Support & Care
  • Support residents to learn, practice, and master life skills, fostering independence and community engagement.
  • Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and therapeutic interventions with accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor health, nutrition, medication administration, and appointments in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly residential spaces, ensuring a comfortable home environment.
Community & Family Engagement
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents' families, guardians, and external service providers.
  • Support community integration and social opportunities for residents.
  • Advocate for residents' goals and interests within the residence and the broader community.
Administrative & Operational Duties
  • Assist with financial management, including budgeting, tracking individual expenses, and maintaining records.
  • Participate in supervision meetings, staff meetings, and performance evaluations.
  • Document care and progress notes, ensuring compliance with agency standards.
  • Complete required certifications and ongoing training (e.g., MAP, CPR, First Aid).

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency certificate
  • Valid driver's license issued from your state of residence
  • 1-3 years of related experience
