Job description

  • Lead the administrative and strategic coordination of high-priority research initiatives in collaboration with initiative leadership.
  • Serve as a central point of integration across faculty,staff, and external partners to advanceshared research goals.
  • Translate initiative priorities into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare briefings, summaries, and reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Identifyand cultivate collaborative research opportunities across the university andwith external academic, government, nonprofit, and industry partners.
  • Lead and support the preparation, submission, and management of extramural funding applications.
  • Draft and edit grant materials, progress reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide guidance on proposal strategy, sponsor expectations, and submission processes.
  • May supervise and coordinate the work activities of researchsupport staff supporting assigned initiatives, providing guidance on taskpriorities and project deliverables to ensure alignment with programobjectives.
  • Contribute to the recruitment of research and tenure-trackfaculty by assisting with position development, search coordination, andcandidate evaluation.
  • Advise research teams on clinical research workflows,protocols, and implementation considerations.
  • Foster an environment that supports collaboration,efficiency, and research excellence.
  • Support short- and long-term planning efforts to strengthenresearch programs and infrastructure.
  • Contributeto the development of systems, processes, and resources that enhance research productivityand sustainability.
