Job description

JOB PURPOSE:
Business Development Managers are the key point of contact between the organization and its clients. Responsible for meeting aggressive sales targets, growing revenue and building business by identifying and seeking out new sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Actively seek out and close new business development opportunities and target markets through recognizing prospects, cold calling, networking and other relevant mediums
  • Conduct market research to identify new business development possibilities and evaluate client needs
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients and deliver compelling presentations on products/ service
  • Display efficiency in gathering market and customer information to enable negotiations regarding variations in pricing, delivery and customer specification
  • Maintain and develop good relationship with clients through personal contact, meetings, via telephone, etc.
  • Assist current and prospective customers in identifying potential use cases for GardaWorld products, services and solutions by articulating compelling value propositions
  • Represent GardaWorld on internal and external interactions including at client events, relevant industry and trade specific events, social and public functions, and other activities
  • Extensively travels throughout the region as needed to accomplish sales goals
  • Performs other duties as required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in selling and growing business-to-business environment base of accounts and actively prospecting for new business development opportunities
  • Experience selling within the financial, technology, retail, restaurant and pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or comparable combination of education and work experience required. Master of Business Administration a plus
  • Highly self- motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
