Job description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Life Sciences and Healthcare team. This is a full quota carrying role responsible for owning the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through close, across small to mid-sized pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, financial, and professional services organizations.

You will sell Clarivate's portfolio of data, analytics, and intelligence solutions, with a strong focus on R&D, market assessment, market access, and real-world evidence solutions. Success in this role requires strong commercial judgment, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to translate complex data and insights into clear business value for senior decision makers.

This role partners closely with BDAs, Solution Consultants, Product, and Marketing to drive consistent new logo growth and long-term customer value.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of B2B sales experience

  • Comfort engaging senior level stakeholders via phone, virtual meetings, and in person

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience selling software, data, analytics, or services into life sciences or pharma
