Job description

OneMain Financial is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the open Administrative Specialist role with the Repossession Administration Team. This position will provide administrative support to our account repossession strategy. This role is responsible for account review, research, and compiling data to complete a repossession request for the administration piece of the repossession process. A solid understanding of policy and procedures, CLASS and ELF knowledge, organization, time management, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are required for this role.
In the Role
  • Review accounts referred by risk for repossession processing for multiple parts of the business - including ELF documentation review, account notes, assessing the value of the unit and title review.
  • Identifying unperfected liens and missing documentation for business partners to review.
  • Adhering to the SLA review timeframe for referral lists.
  • Review accounts referred by repossession collection agents for active repo processing - including reviewing of documentation, title review and expiration of state regulated letters where applies.
  • Maintain an understanding of departmental systems, personal computers, software applications and policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of departmental improvements
  • Assist multiple parts of the business when it comes to administration review.
  • Complete required compliance training by assigned due dates

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/ GED.

Preferred:
  • Financial Services and Lending background a plus
