Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an AS400/RPG Developer to provide support for RentalMan. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing, creating, and maintaining applications on the IBM iSeries AS400 platform, with a focus on production support and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements then design, create, and maintain applications using SQLRPGLE on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform
• Prepare detailed design specifications from which programs will be written, coded, tested, debugged, and documented
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands-on experience with RentalMan, RPG, RPGLE Concept – Must needed with more than 5 years of minimum experience
• Production Support experience
• Agile Knowledge
• Prior experience with Retail industry is a MUST for this position
• Knowledge of Visual Explain and performance tools on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform
• Knowledge and use of IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi source, debug, etc. tool)
• Knowledge of source control software (Aldon) on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform
• Analyze business requirements then design, create, and maintain applications using SQLRPGLE on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform
