Role and Responsibilitiesย 

The Social Media Specialist at Nightingale College creates engaging, mission-aligned content for social media while managing the We Love Nightingale private Facebook group,ย monitoringย competitor activity, and reporting on campaign performance. The role also involves building an engaged learner audience, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, supporting College events,ย assistingย theย directorย and escalating learner concerns as needed.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

โ€ข Create content for the Collegeโ€™s social media sitesย (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram), using innovative and dynamic social storytelling andย followingย best practicesย toย engage learnersย and supportย the Collegeโ€™s mission, vision,ย and strategic goals.ย 

โ€ข Serve as an administrator for the We Love Nightingale private Facebook group. Monitor comments, approveย new members,ย posts, removeย spamย and reported content.ย Monitor posts and commentsย for alignmentย withย Collegeย values,ย group policies,ย and community standards,ย escalatingย as necessary.ย 

โ€ขย Create messaging thatย compliesย withย accreditation standards,ย regulatoryย agencies, and brand and voiceย guidelines.ย 

โ€ขย Participateย in College events including graduation, open houses, orientations, conferences, and Flame Forward.ย
