About Us

ATP is the nation's largest flight school, providing students with the most efficient path to a successful airline pilot career. For over 40 years, ATP has been the leader in professional flight training and supplying pilots to regional and major airlines.

The role

This role develops and maintains the full-cycle talent acquisition processes for Aviation Maintenance Technicians and administrative staff. The Recruiter partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develops effective sourcing strategies, screens and assesses applicants, coordinates interviews, and supports offer negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for multiple positions across assigned business units.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and workforce plans that align with current and future hiring needs.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, serving as a trusted recruiting partner throughout the hiring process.
  • Source both active and passive candidates using a variety of recruiting tools, networking strategies, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct phone screens and evaluate candidates to identify top talent before presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the interview process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect timely hiring manager feedback, and facilitate next steps throughout the recruiting process.
  • Extend offers and manage pre-employment documentation and onboarding coordination.
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • At least two years experience in full-cycle recruitment (Corporate recruiting experience is a must)
  • Ability to design and implement creative sourcing strategies for the specific recruitment of Aviation Maintenance Technicians and a variety of other roles
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Experience with Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter required
  • Experience with JSFirm strongly preferred
  • Previous aviation recruiting experience preferred
