WinnCompanies is searching for aย Maintenance Technician Iย to join our team at Park William, a 31-unit residential community located in Pomona, CA.ย 

In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots. Please note that the pay range for this position is $23.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical,ย basicย plumbing, and basicย HVAC
  • Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
  • Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
  • Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances,ย andย HVACย (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
  • Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic English.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training.
  • Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT).
