Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, you will be responsible for a variety of critical functions, including:

  • Providing substance use and mental health counseling to clients of all age ranges, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans and performing case management for youth, adults, and families referred for outpatient services.
  • Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions to address various clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions, therapy sessions, and treatment progress in a timely manner.
  • Scheduling and managing ongoing appointments with clients, ensuring that calendars are up to date and flexible enough to meet client needs.
  • Collaborating with a billing service which manages client and insurance accounts receivable, eligibility checks, and payment plans, allowing you to concentrate on clinical duties.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are in need of mental health support. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their unique challenges, enhancing their resilience and coping mechanisms through dedicated therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of four years of practical clinical social work experience, including experience gained through a master's-level practicum.
Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in outpatient mental health settings, substance abuse treatment, or who are well-versed with evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and virtual counseling tools is also an asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually along with performance bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
