The North Suburban Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our team in a remote role. This position is entirely remote, allowing you the freedom to manage your work environment while still being a critical part of our therapeutic team. You will have access to our online systems to facilitate patient communication, documentation, and collaborative care. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and tailor individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique experiences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that facilitate healing and resilience in clients, using both group and individual settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations, and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts within the practice.
• Coordinate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Educate and support patients and their families, offering guidance and resources to foster empowerment and recovery.
• Stay informed about recent developments in mental health research, integrating best practices into your treatment approaches to enhance client outcomes.

Our outpatient practice serves a diverse range of individuals, including youth and families facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. We pride ourselves on being sensitive to the cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of our clients, ensuring that our care is respectful and relevant. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid LCSW-C license issued in the state of Maryland.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, with an understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, crucial for adapting therapeutic approaches to dynamic client needs.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience working within a community health setting or with youth populations is highly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth technologies for remote therapy sessions will also be beneficial in ensuring effective service delivery.
