This remote role allows the Licensed Clinical Social Worker to engage directly with students and families via virtual platforms. While the position is remote, the work is community-oriented as you will be building meaningful therapeutic relationships with the school population. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, mental health specialists, and families to cultivate an integrated support system that promotes students' emotional and academic success.

• Provide direct clinical support to students experiencing mental health challenges through assessment, counseling sessions, and the implementation of evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct brief, developmentally appropriate screenings and arrange for detailed assessments to identify individual student needs.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
• Engage in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support during emergencies and ensuring student safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with organizational standards, including treatment progress and outcome measures.
• Actively participate in team meetings and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and promoting agency-wide quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage a caseload consisting of individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide psychoeducation and resources to students and families to foster resilience and coping strategies.

This role primarily focuses on a diverse student population, many of whom may come from underserved backgrounds. As an LCSW, you will address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges, recognizing the unique cultural and socioeconomic factors that impact each student's experience. Your work will contribute significantly to their mental health stability and overall academic success.

• A valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a school or community mental health setting.
• Expert knowledge of assessment and treatment modalities applicable to assigned populations, including risk assessment and crisis management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated competency in working with diverse populations with sensitivity to cultural differences and individual needs.

• Experience working within school systems or educational settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and integrated care approaches.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and other digital tools for patient management.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, which reflects the level of experience and the value placed on mental health professionals in our organization.
