This position is ideal for an individual with a strong desire to foster the growth of emerging therapists while delivering compassionate care to clients.

About the Organization

This role allows for a flexible remote working environment, providing you with the opportunity to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments effectively. Our outpatient office approach focuses on delivering therapeutic services that prioritize accessibility, and as such, we employ a digital infrastructure equipped with secure technology to ensure client confidentiality and effective communication. You will integrate seamlessly into a collaborative team that shares a commitment to positive client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and interns, helping them develop the skills necessary for clinical licensure, and offering guidance on their therapeutic techniques.
  • Deliver psychotherapy services, including individual therapy, couple counseling, and family therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to improve client outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and community resources to provide holistic support for clients.
  • Stay current with the latest research, practices, and trends in mental health counseling to guarantee the delivery of high-quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and life experiences. Our clients often seek assistance with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Understanding the cultural and individual nuances of our clients is essential for forming effective therapeutic alliances and achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Professional liability insurance to practice as a therapist.
  • At least two years of direct experience in clinical settings providing therapeutic services to clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role with a focus on supporting students or early-career professionals.
  • Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and telehealth best practices.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 to welcome you to our team. In addition to the attractive compensation package, our therapists enjoy:

  • Remote work with a focus on 100% outpatient responsibilities, allowing for flexibility in your schedule.
  • Generous benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid parental leave and paid holidays.
  • A collegial and supportive work environment with full administrative assistance to ease your workload and allow you to focus on your clients.
  • A strong emphasis on work/life balance and professional development opportunities.

At the Behavioral Foundation Center, we prioritize the professional development of our team members. We believe in internal mobility and encourage our counselors to take on roles that align with their career goals.

Why Join Our Team
