Remote | 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $35.00 per Hour

A large, multi-state organization operating in a highly regulated environment is seeking a Human Resources Paralegal to support employment, compliance, and workforce development initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with employment law experience who enjoys working on a variety of HR and compliance-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and maintain employment agreements, offer letters, and other HR-related documents
  • Conduct multi-state employment law research and assist with compliance initiatives
  • Prepare and organize onboarding documentation for new hires and newly acquired locations
  • Support WIOA workforce program documentation and compliance requirements
  • Assist with benefits-related documentation and HR policy updates
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience as an Employment Law, Labor & Employment, or Human Resources Paralegal required
  • Strong understanding of employment law principles and HR documentation
  • Experience conducting legal research across multiple state jurisdictions
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with WIOA or workforce development programs is strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting organizations with multi-state operations is a plus
  • Paralegal experience with strong document drafting and research skills
  • Tech-savvy โ€” must be comfortable learning and working across multiple platforms and portals
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be U.S.-based and fully remote-capable
  • Midwest location preferred
