Remote Workflow Automation information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Workflow Automation Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Workflow Automation Specialist, you need strong analytical skills, process optimization experience, and a background in IT or business process management. Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or UiPath, as well as relevant certifications, is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills distinguish top performers in remote environments. These competencies enable efficient process streamlining, effective team collaboration, and successful automation project delivery from any location.

What are some common challenges faced when managing workflow automation remotely, and how can they be addressed?

One common challenge in remote workflow automation roles is ensuring seamless communication and coordination across distributed teams, especially when automating processes that involve multiple departments. It's important to establish clear documentation, standardized procedures, and regular check-ins to keep everyone aligned. Additionally, remote professionals must be proactive in monitoring automated workflows for errors or inefficiencies, often requiring robust reporting tools and strong troubleshooting skills. Leveraging collaborative platforms and fostering a culture of transparency can help overcome these challenges and ensure smooth automation projects.

What is remote workflow automation?

Remote workflow automation refers to the use of technology and software tools to automate business processes and tasks that can be managed from any location. This approach helps organizations streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency, especially for distributed or remote teams. By automating repetitive tasks, businesses can focus on higher-value work and maintain productivity regardless of team members' physical locations. Tools like Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, and others are commonly used to set up these automated workflows.

Job description

Senior Product Manager, Salesforce Platform

Why This Role Matters

At Greenbox Capital, we are transforming how businesses access capital by building technology that simplifies underwriting, accelerates decisions, and improves operational efficiency. As a Senior Product Manager focused on the Salesforce platform, you will lead the roadmap for the systems that power our lending lifecycle across servicing, collections and Salesforce-driven operational workflows

Your work will ensure Salesforce and related systems operate as a cohesive platform that supports scalable growth, operational efficiency, and a seamless experience for both clients and internal teams.

This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and partners closely with engineering and operations leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Salesforce platform roadmap supporting servicing, collections and underwriting workflows
  • Partner with engineering leadership to improve Salesforce data models, objects, and system integrations
  • Translate operational and underwriting needs into clear product requirements and development priorities
  • Design workflow improvements and automation that reduce operational friction and improve processing speed
  • Lead product discovery, backlog prioritization, and delivery coordination across engineering and business teams
  • Support product launches through documentation, training, and internal enablement
  • Expand utilization of Salesforce through improved reporting, integrations, and platform capabilities
  • Establish QA and UAT processes to improve release quality and reduce defects

What Success Looks Like

  • Product initiatives improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual processing
  • Product partners well with technology to deliver strong data infrastructure and design for easy use in workflows, reporting, and data analytics
  • Engineering teams receive clear, structured requirements that allow predictable development delivery
  • Internal stakeholders rely on the platform to manage workflows, reporting, and operational decision-making
  • New capabilities are adopted quickly because they align with how teams work
  • Measured through roadmap delivery predictability, product development cycle time, workflow adoption and reduction in manual processes

You’re a Strong Fit If You

  • Approach product management as a systems problem, not just a feature backlog
  • Enjoy breaking complex operational workflows into structured product solutions
  • Work comfortably with engineers, analysts, and operational stakeholders
  • Prefer validating ideas through prototypes, diagrams, and workflow exploration
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical teams and business leadership

What You’ve Done Before

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering software products
  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or complex operational environments
  • Required experience owning products built on Salesforce or similiar CRM platforms
  • Experience improving workflows, automation, or operational decision systems
  • Exposure to underwriting, servicing, or credit workflows preferred

Tools and Expertise You’ll Bring

  • Salesforce platform knowledge
  • Product lifecycle management and Agile delivery
  • Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma, Looker, or Databricks
  • SDLC tools including Azure DevOps, Jira, Linear, or Shortcut
  • Vendor evaluation and integration experience

💸 Competitive Pay
🌴 Flexible PTO
🏡 Remote — U.S. (Eastern Time hours)
🩺 Full Benefits Package — Health, Dental, Vision
🧠 Smart, Supportive Teammates
