We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Automation & AI Analyst to support the development and deployment of workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, and productivity solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Workflow Automation (Core Focus)
- Build and maintain workflows using:
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Power Apps (basic forms and interfaces)
- SharePoint and Teams integrations
- Replace manual/email-driven processes with automated workflows
- Configure approvals, notifications, reminders, and escalations
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations
AI & Process Support
- Assist in implementing AI-driven tools and agentic workflows under guidance from IT leadership
- Help automate tasks such as:
- Data collection and validation
- Report generation
- Document processing
- Support integration of AI tools into existing workflows
Process Improvement
- Work with departments to understand current processes and pain points
- Document workflows and identify opportunities for automation
- Recommend simple, practical solutions to improve efficiency
- Help standardize processes across teams
Data & Reporting Support
- Build basic dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Automate recurring reports and data updates
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
User Support & Adoption
- Train employees on new workflows and tools
- Provide day-to-day support for automation-related issues
- Create simple documentation and how-to guides
- Gather feedback and suggest improvements
Position Details
- Reports to: Director of IT
- Works closely with: Finance, Operations, HR, Scheduling, and other business units
- Focus: Execution, support, and continuous improvement (not strategic ownership)
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in Business systems, IT support, operations, or process improvement
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and advanced Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience)
- Experience with:
- Power Apps or Power BI
- Basic understanding of APIs or system integrations
- Exposure to AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
- Familiarity with workflow/process mapping
- Light scripting experience (Python, VBA, or similar) is a plus
