This role allows for a flexible working environment, as you will operate primarily in a remote setting. However, you will remain integrated within our outpatient office framework, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes healthcare providers, community organizations, and support resources. The responsibilities of the Mental Health Therapist at Vatica Counseling Center encompass a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Diagnosing and treating various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, adapting care plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient status and progress.
• Networking with community resources and support groups to facilitate referrals for patients requiring additional services, thereby enhancing their mental wellness journey.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create effective discharge plans and ensure continuity of care for patients after they leave our services.
• Organizing daily workload by prioritizing patients based on their needs, ensuring timely interventions and support to manage crisis situations effectively.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about available resources, treatment options, and strategies to improve overall mental health.
• Acting as an advocate for patients, engaging with outside agencies and additional care providers to coordinate comprehensive support.
• Engaging in peer review and meeting clinical documentation standards as outlined in the Mental Health Practice Act.

In this role, you'll be working with a diverse population of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health issues. Your efforts will directly impact patient outcomes by providing the necessary support to improve their mental wellness and quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid State Licensure as either an LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Psychologist.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources that can aid in referrals and patient care.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with patients and stakeholders.
• The ability to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages healing.

• Experience working in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms to manage patient cases.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused brief therapy.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include the potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000, a flexible work schedule allowing for a healthy work-life balance, and a user-friendly platform for managing cases and client notes without the overhead expenses associated with private practice.
