Technical Project Manager - Cloud Operations, Observability & Disaster Recovery
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise technology initiatives across Cloud Operations, AIOps, Monitoring & Observability, and Disaster Recovery programs. This role is responsible for driving structured delivery, governance, operational alignment, and cross-functional execution across complex infrastructure and technology operations portfolios.
The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise IT program management experience, technical fluency across infrastructure and cloud operations, and the ability to manage highly visible initiatives involving engineering, operations, security, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Program Delivery

  • Lead and coordinate delivery across Cloud Operations, AIOps, Monitoring & Observability, and Disaster Recovery initiatives
  • Maintain consolidated portfolio visibility across multiple programs, workstreams, and operational dependencies
  • Drive execution consistency, milestone tracking, and operational alignment across enterprise initiatives
Project Planning & Governance
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and governance frameworks
  • Develop structured delivery plans in partnership with technical and operational leadership
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise PMO standards, change management, and operational governance practices
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, ITSM, Procurement, Database Support, and vendor teams
  • Manage dependencies, escalations, and delivery blockers across multiple stakeholders and operational groups
  • Partner closely with command center, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure readiness and execution alignment
Risk, Issue & Stakeholder Management
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans across programs
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, status summaries, and operational updates
  • Translate technical delivery progress into clear business impact and operational visibility
Disaster Recovery & Resilience Programs
  • Coordinate enterprise disaster recovery planning, testing, audits, and remediation activities
  • Support recovery strategy development, tabletop exercises, and full failover execution planning
  • Ensure recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are documented, tested, and aligned across critical systems and infrastructure
Cloud & Observability Program Support
  • Support cloud migration initiatives, AIOps enablement, observability platform adoption, and tooling integrations
  • Coordinate monitoring and observability initiatives including alerting, dashboards, tooling standardization, and MSP transitions
  • Track vendor deliverables, SLAs, onboarding activities, and platform implementation milestones
ITSM & Operational Alignment
  • Ensure alignment with ITIL-based service management, release management, and service transition processes
  • Coordinate infrastructure work across data centers, remote office environments, facilities technology, and operational support teams
  • Partner with database support teams on maintenance windows, capacity planning, and environment readiness activities
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain KPIs, reporting dashboards, and operational metrics across programs
  • Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Recommend delivery optimization strategies and governance enhancements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management within enterprise IT environments
  • Experience managing initiatives across cloud operations, infrastructure, observability, platform engineering, or disaster recovery domains
  • Familiarity with ITIL-aligned service management and operational governance frameworks
  • Experience coordinating vendor, MSP, and enterprise supplier engagements
  • Experience supporting Azure and/or GCP cloud environments
  • PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred
