This is a fully remote position, conducted through a secure telehealth platform that enables therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes or other locations. • Evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms by analyzing their frequency, intensity, and duration, using standardized assessment tools to create a comprehensive picture of their mental health.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring active participation in the therapeutic process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of each client.

• Engage in professional development activities, contributing to case consultations and team meetings to enhance overall service delivery and therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders, ensuring their voices are heard and needs met.

This position primarily focuses on individuals and families dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work closely with a varied clientele, offering support tailored to the unique challenges they face. • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude when interacting with clients and discussing sensitive topics.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, with familiarity in digital communication tools.
