Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from home while efficiently managing your responsibilities. As part of our focus on school-based services, you will collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to support the wellbeing of students. We prioritize a balance between work and life, enabling you to work according to your schedule, which may include some evenings and weekends to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and personalized psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and available resources.
• Provide individualized, family-centered, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, establishing clear goals and interventions that promote clients' growth and recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, and parents to coordinate holistic care and address the multi-faceted challenges clients face.
• Engage clients in crisis intervention when needed, conducting risk assessments and formulating safety plans to ensure immediate and long-term wellbeing.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise records that comply with applicable ethical and legal standards, reinforcing accountability and quality of care.
• Lead supportive group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, equipping clients with coping strategies and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on working with students and their families, addressing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. By actively engaging with the school community, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the mental health of children and adolescents, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to suit diverse cultural backgrounds and individual experiences. The role requires a deep understanding of the dynamics within school environments and how external stressors can impact a student’s academic and social development.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities to address various mental health issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaborators.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client documentation efficiently and securely.
• Familiarity with local community resources and support services available for families in need.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by attractive benefits packages which include:
