Our client is a leading defense and aerospace company that is advancing aviation, building smarter defense systems, and creating innovations to take the world deeper into space. Our team manages the development and production of collateral, meetings, events, videos, and multimedia.
Would you like to work for Aquent Studios as a mid-level Event Webinar Producer who will drive the execution for virtual events? This position is supporting our Technology client on a long-term contract as part of an existing team. This role is fully remote, and most projects are fully virtual events, with remote support sometimes needed for virtual components of on-site meetings. You will drive creation of live, recorded, and on-demand event content, such as Zoom webinars, live streams, town halls, etc. from a technical and project management perspective. This includes using Zoom with all types of peripherals such as video, polls, conferencing, presentations, live streaming, etc. to ensure delivery of a consistent and high-quality experience.
The Events Webinar Producer develops and maintains virtual event standards and best practices and works closely with colleagues to ensure clients' events are successful and promoted across the organization and external audiences.
Must Have:
  • 3+ years related experience organizing, producing, or assisting with online events and/or live streaming productions in a technical capacity.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions, and maintain composure and flexibility in stressful, deadline-driven situations.
  • 3+ years technical experience with webinar platforms. Zoom Webinar experience required, working knowledge of Adobe Connect or Webex a plus.
  • 3+ years managing live or recorded videos in either a digital asset management system or web applications such as YouTube or Facebook.
  • Working knowledge of web-based live video production platforms, I.e., Streamyard, Restream.io, or software-based applications such as OBS or Wirecast.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project management experience delivering events on time and on budget, preferably virtual
  • Experience with event registration platforms, e.g., Eventbrite a plus

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage virtual events production calendar and drive creation of live, recorded, and on-demand event content, such as Zoom webinars, live streams, town halls, etc.
  • Create comprehensive event project plans, including run-of-show documentation
  • Conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, including outside technical vendors
  • Escalate risks and challenges appropriately
  • Ensure events are delivered within time and monetary requirements
  • Manage virtual event video assets and metadata on online streaming platforms IBM, Vimeo, YouTube, and/or other social streaming platforms
  • Drive all event testing, quality control, and post-event review practices
  • Build processes for repeatability and scalability of events activities
  • Manage and organize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Additional Information
This is a remote hourly contract role. Hours vary based on client needs; the role generally averages 25 hours/week with opportunities to go up to 40 hours or fewer hours in slower times. Hours are not guaranteed. The ideal candidate will have flexibility to support events across US Time Zones; work requires flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
The target hiring compensation for this role is $38-43/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
