Job description

About Us:

Our web development company builds attractive, high-ranking websites for businesses across the United States and Canada. We focus on what matters most for business owners: local discoverability and new customer acquisition.

Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time, remote Website Design Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with a solid understanding of web design principles, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in all our web development projects. While web design experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

This role will involve reviewing and assessing websites during development to ensure they meet client specifications, our company’s standards, and branding guidelines. You will be working closely with the development team to ensure visual consistency, functionality, and a seamless user experience across all web projects.

We're seeking a candidate who can begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough quality control checks on under-construction websites to ensure they meet client requests, project requirements, and company standards.
  • Ensure written copy is accurate, relevant, and aligns with the client's brand messaging.
  • Review websites for consistency in design, functionality, and branding, ensuring they match the client's vision.
  • Communicate with the web development team to provide feedback, coaching, and guidance on areas for improvement.
  • Conduct final reviews and approvals before site launch, ensuring all content and design elements are properly aligned with client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in graphic design is required, with an eye for detail and a strong understanding of web design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and ability to ensure all written content is accurate, clear, and on-brand.
  • Strong communication skills to provide constructive feedback and coaching to web developers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Availability to begin immediately.

Please Note:

While this is a 100% remote position, applicants must reside in the state of Florida or North Carolina.
