Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to thoroughly understand each client’s mental health history, current status, and unique needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that are tailored to align with client goals while promoting their overall mental health and resilience.
• Providing effective individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Offering crisis intervention services when necessary, responding to urgent mental health issues with professionalism and compassion, ensuring the well-being of your clients.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending webinars and training, to stay updated with the latest mental health practices and methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support through our online platform are pre-screened, stable individuals with low acuity mental health needs. This allows you to focus on building therapeutic relationships and facilitating meaningful therapeutic interventions without the pressures of handling high-risk cases. You will cater primarily to adult clients across various demographics, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect empathetically with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• A compassionate demeanor and a non-judgmental approach to mental health care, fostering a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle your caseload efficiently while managing documentation and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred experience includes:

• Previous experience providing telehealth services or remote mental health counseling.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms, electronic health record systems, and client management software.
• Experience in a community health setting or working with diverse populations might be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the contributions of our counselors and offer competitive compensation in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Full-time counselors are eligible for additional benefits, including:
