This position is fully remote, allowing counselors to provide telehealth services from the comfort of their environment. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule with designated hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our virtual clinic has the necessary tools and support, ensuring seamless interactions with clients and maintaining high-quality standards of care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, utilizing established diagnostic criteria and tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring strategies align with their therapeutic goals and preferences.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, employing various resources and materials to enhance understanding and empowerment.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare providers and specialists to optimize client care and coordinate treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practice and research, integrating evidence-based methodologies into treatment.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diversified Therapy, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Your role is crucial in providing culturally competent care, tailored to meet the unique needs and backgrounds of each individual.

• A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active and valid New York State license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is essential for this position.
• Strong communication skills, along with the ability to empathize and connect with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficient problem-solving skills to effectively navigate clinical challenges and client needs.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a telehealth or remote setting.
• Experience in working with a diverse range of mental health issues and demographics.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is recommended.
