We uncover new sources of income and savings for entities looking to innovate and identify new resources for our clients by identifying all cash as a revenue-generating asset. On average, our work leads to 30% more earnings and 73% more cash being invested confidently. Our core services include:

  • cashVest®, a platform for liquidity monitoring and forecasting,
  • rfpPrep®, a digital tool to streamline banking and investment procurement, and
  • muniBank, a banking fee benchmarking solution. Additional tools are currently in development.


Role Summary

We are seeking a Quality & DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, quality, and delivery pipeline of our platform. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring that what we build is correct, testable, deployable, and observable. You will work across the stack to implement testing strategies, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure that supports a high-quality, high-velocity engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, quality assurance, and platform operations. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys breaking systems, improving them, and automating everything in between.

This position will report to the Chief Product and Technology Officer and will be fully remote. Travel is expected to be up to 5%.


Responsibilities:

As a Quality & DevOps Engineer you will:

Quality Engineering (QE)

  • Contribute to automated testing efforts across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Support and enhance test frameworks for backend APIs and front-end applications.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure testability and quality are built into features from the start.
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and contribute to improvements in reliability and correctness. 
  • Support quality standards and release readiness processes. 

DevOps & Infrastructure

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to improve reliability and consistency. 
  • Assist with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes in AWS or similar environments. 
  • Support monitoring, logging, and alerting processes to improve system visibility and reliability. 
  • Support incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

Release & Environment Management

  • Support application releases across development, staging, and production environments. 
  • Help maintain consistent and stable deployment processes across environments. 
  • Contribute to improving deployment efficiency while maintaining quality standards. 

Automation & Tooling

  • Support automation efforts across testing, deployment, and infrastructure. 
  • Contribute to tooling and automation efforts that improve developer productivity and system reliability. 
  • Assist in improving workflows and reducing friction in development and release processes. 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with backend and frontend engineers to improve system quality.
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership to align on quality expectations.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability around reliability and performance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum one year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Exposure to software development, quality assurance, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or technical operations environments. 
  • Familiarity with software testing, debugging, automation, or web/API testing concepts. 
  • Exposure to automated testing tools, scripting, or programming languages such as Python or JavaScript. 
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, or containerization concepts. 
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as Git, Docker, or monitoring and logging platforms. 
  • Interest in automation, infrastructure, system reliability, or platform engineering principles.
