Position Overview

We invite driven and compassionate professionals to consider the role of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Empower Well Therapy. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while making a direct impact on the lives of children and their families in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering quality mental health services and support to foster the growth and development of early intervention programs.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, giving you the flexibility to provide services while working from home. However, as a part of our school-based program, you may have occasional onsite engagements with children and families as needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand each child's unique needs.
  • Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to ensure tailored support for families.
  • Monitor progress through regular evaluations, providing insights and recommendations to refine strategies and outcomes.
  • Serve as a critical resource for families, offering guidance, information, and concrete strategies to enhance their child's developmental journey.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to cultivate a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Principles to create effective learning experiences.
  • Champion the compliance of all Federal and State regulations to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will primarily work with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Your expertise will contribute significantly to helping these young children develop essential physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during their formative years. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.
  • Must hold an active LCSW license from the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for potential onsite visits.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to various learning styles, accommodating each child’s individualized treatment plan.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings.
  • Commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Preferred Experience
